Oh to be Purified!

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.

We have been rebellious toward God and have sinned against him going our own way, doing our own thing . Yet, in spite of all of that, he loves us so much that he will forgive us, restore us, renew us, remove are guilty stains and purify our hearts.

When he purifies us we will be clean. When he washes us we will be whiter than snow (yes whiter! Can't get no cleaner than that!).

What do I need to do to be purified you ask? All God desires is a broken spirit! When you come to him broken and repentant he won't reject you but embrace you and fulfill his promises to you.

So you see, we have no excuses! Make the decision. There is no condemnation, only the one we have in our heads! (It's a lie)
