The Oath Part II

Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean! You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love as you promised to our ancestors Abraham and Jacob long ago.

Micah 7:19‭-‬20 NLT

Don't you just love how God continually reminds us of his oath to us. Remember yesterday I spoke about that oath and how it's binding? Well, here is another example of how our father binds himself with an oath to us. Last night God revealed something to me. I became very angry and allowed my anger to take me to a place I didn't want to go, (ever had one of those moments🤷🏾‍♀️) I was triggered! And in my anger I asked God why do I allow this trigger to crawl up and down my spine so? He said, it's not the trigger, it's your unwillingness to forgive yourself that gets you so angry! I was like 👀.

He already gave an oath, a promise that he will trample our sins under his feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean! Boom, forgiven, done, kaput!!! but here we go picking up that sin again and again!🤦🏾‍♀️

Father, I thank you for your faithfulness and unfailing love towards me. Thank you for your promise that you never, ever break!

Here's my word on the curb;

Even when you can't forgive yourself, hurry up and know He has already forgiven you! Just believe it and receive it!
